From a Different Point of View

Hello everyone, it's Shea again.

Joe's been so busy at work lately that I've had some extra time to SNOOP around his room.

(get it? Snoop, Snoopy... snoop? Grrrrr)

Anyway, if you remember my first post, he has that really nice ball I would like. Again, I know I can't have it but it's not illegal to look is it? Well I noticed a little something next to it today...

2001 Upper Deck Prospect Premiers

Yay! I've been wanting Joe to get this card for a while now. Wright is definitely my favorite player and is one of Joes as well. He has a small Wright collection that I like to look at and this is without a doubt the cornerstone card of that collection right now.

After I gave the card a good sniffing, I remembered that he was talking to Mike Pelfrey Collectibles about buying some of the cards he was selling. If you haven't checked it out, go take a look. Or, you could send me some money for a new dog toy! Either one.

I know he bought more than just that, so I wanted to see if I could find what else he got. And I did. Oh, did I did...

2006 Sweet Spot "Sweet Beginnings" Patch

So cool! A really nice 4 color patch from what looks like Pelfreys' number. (that's right, I said color! You don't buy into that color blind nonsense do you!?!?) It looks like Pelfrey may have really figured it out this year. He's playing fetch great, but I am glad I'm not the Mets retriever. It looks like I might break a fang trying to catch him.

He got a bunch of the same cards, but with different colors. I hear tales of there being one more, but there's only one of it in the history of the entire world. That may prove difficult to get...

2010 Topps "Black" Jonathan Niese #/59
2009 Bowman X-Fractor Jonathan Niese #/250

Next up (and lastly) we have 2 really nice cards of Jonathan Niese. He's another player on the Mets we really like. It should be fun to watch him for, hopefully, a long time with them. I really like both these cards. The Topps is black, just like my fur! And the Bowman has all kinds of crazy colors and patterns to it. I thought it was running away at first. I barked at it, but then realized that it was just a crazy card. I regret nothing.

So those are some of Joes new additions to his collection. He's been getting a ton of trades from you guys lately that I know he still needs to post.

That's all for me today. I'm happy with the new cards, even though I think I could use a few extra tennis balls around here. I have to go wake up Joe now. I smell a deer outside so I need to trick him into thinking I have to go to the bathroom so I can go chase it.

Signed,
