My favorite thing about the internet, is when you go on for a purpose, and actual responsible reason and then 3 hours later on Stumble Upon you realize that you've forgotten what that thing you needed to do was.

Well, in this case it was ebay, but close enough. I have a couple things I'm watching in my ebay. Nothing that I'm buying right now, just so when they end I have a price to use as a reference point for when I do. And, of course, like the rest of the known universe I've been watching this...


2010 Bowman Stephen Strasburg Red Auto 1/1

The last time I did a post on the craziness of 2010 Bowman, it reflected my, say, boredom with posting about another crazy price. But this I can't let go!

When I went to sleep last night, the card was at $50,400. Now at 9:30 this morning, it's at over $100,000!!!!!

Wh-w-uh-What!?!?! Are you fucking me?! A $50,000 jump in 8 hours? Damn.

I've actually been thinking about placing a bid on this for the past day or two. There's 5 days left on it, so no bid that happens now is going to stand up. I of course would never pay this much for ANY card. My bid wouldn't be an attempt to own it. I just, you know, wanna feel like a part of something. I'm petrified that the second I place my bid, the sellers gonna end the auction early and then I'm gonna be stuck with the thing.

Honestly, what is the ceiling on this card? It's at $100,400 with over 5 days left! Any chance you guys think it'll hit the $1 million mark?
