I'm combining 3 different trades from 3 different people on this one, so there is the gross possibility that I mixed everyone's cards up. It think they're right though...

First up is from reader Ethan. He sent me a package as a thanks for the break which was beyond cool for him to do. Thanks again dude!


I'm not sure who this guy is, but the card design is pretty cool. I've really liked what I've seen from the 03 Flair set.


When I first open the envelope, the first card I saw was the back of the Rich Harden an I thought to myself "Why the hell did he send me a Rich Harden card?" Then I remembered, duh I sent him a list of missing SPs from my 2007 Turkey Red set.

He hooked me up with 2 of them off my list, the Harden and SaltiI'mnotspellingtherestofhisnamebecauseit'stoofuckinglong

Next up, we've got Jason from Clear Cut Cards. We worked out a small trade in the midst of the break, so let's dive in...


2008 Topps Jose Reyes GU. I now have the Reyes and the Wright from this set. I don't have a checklist, so I'm not sure how many Mets there are but I can't imagine there'd be too many. Maybe I'll look into doing my team set thing on this.


Very nice and very nice. The Goodwin set looks really good, even though I will never buy a box myself. And you can never go wrong with anything Pinnacle! Well, maybe their first 2 years...



And #10 off my Most Wanted List! 07 Turkey Red Carlos Gomez. This helps to finish off the team set, just need the Glavine SP. I'll most likely be replacing the "10 Most Wanted" with all the Turkey SPs I still need soon, in case anyone looks at that.

Next up is Mr.BA Benny. I found it to be interesting that nowhere in his actual name will you find "Benny". Even if you do an anagram, nothing. Kindda like a Rusty Shackleford thing he's got going on there...


Same deal with this set, the 08 Legendary Cuts GU, as the 08 Topps. I've got (now) Delgado and Pedro, so maybe I'll try and finish the team up.


Two very nice looking card right hurr right hurr. Not sure if the Goudey is a black and white parallel or if it's just how the set is. Either way, B&W pics are better.

Allen and Ginters are always nice to get in trades. It's basically the only way I'll obtain them because they are another set I will never be buying a box of. There, I said it.



Now these two cards are from sets I've never even heard of before. The Gooden is an '88 Topps something. It's not the mini "leaders" like I maybe thought it was. Can't find anything on it.

The Murray is bigger than a regular card, length wise. Imagine it being about 1 1/3x bigger than a normal card. The back says it's a bookmark, I guess.

Fun Fact: I use badly damaged cards as bookmarks.

And lastly, we have something from (...Joe)...


He must have know he needed this card, so he picked it up from COMC. It's the first time he ever used it and he really liked it very much so.
