The Stephen Strasburg Red 1/1 is now over. This marks 2 out of the 3 1/1s in the set (I think there's only 3 1/1s) that has now hit ebay and been sold. The big question when it hit, was whether or not it would out do the Superfractor.
Nope.
Not even close.
The Superfrac ended with 84 bids at $16,403. The Red, ended with 35 bids at $4,850. Still quite an absurd price if one is to ask me.
Now, the watch is on this: 2010 Jason Heyward Superfractor Auto 1/1. Right now, its got 31 bids at $5,000 with (at current time) just under 6 days left. It's got a chance to break the Strasburg Superfractor number at this point.
I'm sure sometime soon, we'll be talking about Bryce Harper cards...

I know the Red parallel is a 1 of 1, but come on. It's not auto'ed or a refractor. It's just a card of a (the) hottest prospect with a dif colored boarder. That's crazy. To each their own, but I would much rather the Strasburg Chrome Ref Auto. I think it looks better than both of those 1 of 1's and I've seen them selling for $125 - $160.
