I couldn't have written it any better...
I wanna do a more formal season review in a bit, but for now I'll do a micro version. Really only 2 good things came from this season for the Mets:
1- David Wright got back on track
2- We got a glimpse of what the very near future may hold with players such as Niese, Thole, Tejada and Davis.
2011 anyone?

I would add RA Dickey as a distinct third thing. Possibly also a fourth: the poor play this year will likely force the Mets to jettison Ollie and Castillo so we do not need to see them next season. I guess that last one is still tentative though.
