Well, not really song... just that line.
I haven't even seen Office Space in years. I may be losing my mind...
Anyways, Surprise! I'm here to drop a little cardboard on ya'll. (sidenote, to anyone who lives here in the Northeast, try saying "ya'll" in your conversations for a day. People start looking at you strangely.)
Sooo a little while ago I did a post offering cards for as many football and/or basketball teams as you want for the small fee of one Piazza or Wright. A few have jumped on that offer, but there are still some teams left, so let's do it up. (please leave me your email, or send me one so I can get your address!) The first two return packages I've gotten come courtesy of Kevin Mattson and BA Benny, respectively.
Now showing, Mr.Kevin...

We gotst here us a couple Piazzas circa 2001 and 1998. My Piazza collection is very top heavy, with '98 and earlier carrying most of the volume. I'm actually very close to completing a few years. I'm only a couple cards away from '92 being done and '93 is also within striking distance, although there are a handful of cards that are a bit out of my price range right now. Also, finishing off '94 isn't too unrealistic right now. I still need alot, but there's nothing really rare, or sought after, so I may be able to knock that down soon!

And some nice Wrights to tag along! The first is an Upper Deck First Pitch, which I honestly don't know much about. I like the fireworks though! And to the right, a nice Elements card. I really like this set, and bought a few boxes of it a couple years ago. It's basically UDs answer to "Finest", but better. When it first came out, I remember it costing $150 for 3 mini boxes. In a year it dropped down to about $70, but hasn't moved since. There are a few redemptions that have expired, though (Griffey, Jeter, Ripken) so if the price drops to $50ish, I think it would be worth the gamble.
Next up we've got a couple cards from BA Benny I found intriguing. Check this out. We all know that companies use the same photo over and over and over again (unless you're new to the hobby... well, now you know) especially within the same year. But then there's this...

2002 Topps

2002 Fleer Triple Crown
We got Topps and Fleer, two separate companies. At first glance I thought it was the same photo, but if you give it a second look, the Fleer photo was taken a fraction of a second after the Topps photo was. It the same runner coming in, from the same angle. Kindda neat.
Thanks again guys for not only making the trade and taking those cards off my hands, but for including more than the asking price!

(...Joe)
