Anyways, last week I got a neat little package from The Middle Child which means one of two things:
A- I got Mets cards!!!
or
B- I got Piazza cards!!!

Either way, I'd be extremely content. Side note, is it possible to be "extremely content"? Wouldn't that kindda be along the same lines as being "progressively neutral" or like "hurry up and take your time"? I digress.

So it turned out that option B prevailed and I was... well, OVERLY content! There were about 20ish Piazzas, give or take, but not a single double. Love it!

First up, a '96 Fleer "On Base Leaders" and a '98 Metal Universe. The Metal didn't photo for crap, but believe me it's a pretty brutal card. It's all like, POW and cartoon and shiny and whatnot.

Would anyone still be my friend if I said that I actually like the '94 Topps design? To stage left is a '97 (I think) 7-Eleven phone card. I have found zero info about this set. Anyone else know?

Piazza just flat out looks weird in a Marlins uniform. Thank god that didn't last long. As for the '93 Topps card (Piazza, Delgado, Brook Fordyce, Donnie Leshnock) each of those players, at some point in time played for the Mets. Don't believe me? Good. 'Cuz it's not true. Leshnock never did. Ruining all my fun...

So that's my latest trade goodness to date. I'm adding some more stuff to the trade bait page soon so check that out. I'm gonna have to rely heavily on trades for new cards for a little while as I reconfigure my budget a bit. I went to get an estimate and set up an appointment for my next tattoo, earlier this week. What I thought would be a $300 tatt, turned out to be about $600! Sooo, I have to do some creative problem solving and then yeahhh. It'll be my 2nd once I get it and I'm mapping out the rest of a "half sleeve" so I'm not done yet!
