Low #d Wright Addition

I like it when cards are serial numbered. I think it's kindda cool knowing how many are out there. While there are alot of the "gimmick" aspects that card companies have devoloped (jersey cards, autos) are wearing thin, I still enjoy the numbered cards. I'm sure that the card companies will find a way to fuck that up too, i.e making every base card for every set serial numbered including the flagships, just like they have by making inserts an annoyance, game used cards boring and tedious and making autos of any player worth caring about super short printed.

I digress.

A little while ago Cpt. Canuck from over at Waxaholic did a quick post with some trade bait. I saw a 2008 David Wright Masterpieces that sparked my interest so I started looking to see what Braves I had to offer. It was obvious that it was a parallel, due to the silver framed boarder and I'm sure some of you already know the numbering of the card. I'm not that Masterpeices savoy, however, so I had an offer set and posted my comment.

I get an email back asking what I had to send his way for the Wright #/25. I had now idea it was #d that low so I dug a little deeper and found something a little better to exchange for it. I'm glad I had something in my reserves to get the deal done, as this now become the lowest numbered card in either of my player collections so far.

Thanks again to Mr.Canuck and hopefully we can do business again soon!
