Only in a Mets Uniform...

New York Mets
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
San Diego Padres
Colorado Rockies

What do these teams all have in common?

None of them have a no hitter to their credit.

What don't they have in common about what they have in common?

The Mets have a slathering of pitchers who have thrown no hitters in their careers, only for other teams. Check it...

Nolan Ryan
Doc Ellis
Tom Seaver
(Dr.) Mike Scott (another post, for another time)
Bret Saberhagen
Kenny Rogers
Al Leiter
Doc Gooden
Hideo Nomo
David Cone

And then there's the guys who were part of a combined no-hitter:
Alejandro Pena
Octavio Dotel
Billy Wagner

10 guys who were able to do it for other teams by themselves, and 3 who PITCHED in

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha

What's almost surreal is that you got some heavy weight names on here. Seaver, Gooden,
Nolan fucking Ryan! He can do it 7 friggin' times, but not for the Mets, amazin'.

I just always found that interesting, and I never really realized how many pitchers were able to do it else where before and/or after being a Met.
