Snails are hermaphrodites which means that they have both male and female reproductive organs

This year Kevin over at The Diamond King was looking to accumulate 1,000 Refractors and he finally achieved his goal a handful of weeks ago. In honor of this feat and our latest swap, here are a quick few quick snail facts!

The fastest snails are the speckled garden snails which can move up to 55 yards per hour compared 23 inches per hour of most other land snails.

 Garden snails have up to 14,175 teeth. They are all located on their tongue.

 May 24th is National Escargot Day.
