Super Sick Mojo Ebay 1/1!!!!

Not gonna lie, when I bought this lot of Piazza cards off ebay, that's what I was looking for. I don't know why, but for some weird ass reason I had that feeling... ya know?

I'll get right to it, I found none of that. What I found was sooooo much betterer. Out of the 80 card lot I found your typical assortment of commons including my 1,000th copy of a '93 Donruss Piazza (I swear someone's gonna get a hell of a bipping one day) and the inserts were nothing all that rare or even uncommon. They were, however, some of the most fun cards I've received in awhile...

First up a "Tri-Fold" card from 2003 Topps T-205. I never opened a box of this stuff, so I had no idea about these cards. Turns out they're one per pack... sign me up! Obviously, you can see how awesome the pictures and layout are on this and the back has a write up about the play pictured in B&W. Super cool and oh, fuck Jimmy Rollins. It... it needed to be said.

Next up is the '95 offering from Studio. I've seen these cards mentioned on a few blogs before, but this is my first in hand experience. The cards are molded after credit cards, right down to the plastic it's made from to the raised lettering and the little black strip on the back that doesn't work when you swipe it take it from me the people at the store won't find it nearly as funny as you thought that maybe they would.

The next run of cards are all from '94 Fun Pack. Another set I knew (know) nothing about other then it's made by Upper Deck and it's packed full of awesomeness. As any Piazza collector can tell you, there are millions of '94 cards pairing Piazza with Tim Salmon and this one is no exception. Just like the T-205 card, it folds out, but remember... this was made by Upper Deck which can only mean one thing...

And finally, this little number. Seems normal enough. The blacked out background is kindda weird but OH WAIT!!!

It's heat activated ink that and there's a cartoon dude sliding into home!!!

No autos, no jersey bits, no super short prints or 1:400 pulls (although I did score one on ebay that should be coming soon!!!) just some good clean mid '90s fun when the half-life of all the cocaine leftover in everyone's system from the '80s kicked in and resulted in some wacky cardboard goodness.

Love it.
