So, my head is still a fucking mess right now but this made me feel just a little bit better...

If he does make it to the Hall, whether in 2013 or afterward, he would likely go in with a Mets cap on his plaque.

That's the latest article off Mets.com regarding Mike Piazza! Knowing now that he's leaning towards going into the HOF as a Met may have just made my day. It's the little things...

    It's not his decision to make. But I'm guessing he'll probably end up as Met.

    I thought the players decided? And then it gets confirmed by the commissioner or whoever...

    No, the whole Wade Boggs flap caused them to change the rules. Players don't get to decide anymore, the Hall does (Dawson wanted to go in as a Cub, but the Hall said "you're an Expo).
