My Lowest #'d Piazza

For quite some time, my lowest serial numbered Piazza card was a Donruss Champions "Impressions" #/50.

Impressive? No. Not at all.

Don't get me wrong, I really like that card as I'm a fan of artificial scarcity but just about everyone in the blog scene here has me beat with their fancy 1/1s and printing plates and... and stuff.

Well this card smashes the numbering of the previous CHAMPIONS

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Bested by 19 copies! That's right, numbered to 31. Take that all you fancy 1/1s... yeah, that's right. Anyways, it's a great looking card, albeit he's in a Marlins jersey. That will never look right. It's a real slick glossy card so it feels kindda strange to hold, I've always liked the feel of matted type cards better but hey, what can ya do?

Thanks again to Mike for the trade as he sent me other great cards as well and this was long overdue. I should be getting a bunch of Piazzas of the bay soon so I'll post up on anything fun and interesting!

  1. Way cool!!! I love that card! Great how they got the uniform, team, and picture all correct considering he was only a Marlin for 5 days I believe.
