Quote of the Day:
"There is no during after snorting a pixie stick. The only thing you can do immediately following doing a line of pixie stick is attempt to reach the nearest ice pick to gouge your brain out while simultaneously beg for your own life...it's an odd feeling"
Looking through the 1/2 off bin of vintage cards at my LCS, I stumbled upon a 1954 Bowman Don Newcomb. "This should be pretty easy to trade" I thought. My thought was correct. A few days after posting it for trade, I received interest from the legendary Night Owl.
I've got a '63 Hodges, he said.
Sounds good to me, I said.
Also included were a fine selection of new Piazzas
9 to be exact, creeping me ever closer to 1,000 total for the collection. Currently I rest at 880.
My favorite of which was this '96 Ultra "Rawhide", because no one did inserts in the 90's and early '00s better than Fleer!
Thanks again for the trade and hopefully I can find that Billy Loesin for you soon!

880 -- wow. I'm adding some Piazzas to my database right now and it's not even half that and it looks obnoxious.
ReplyDeleteThe really obnoxious thing thing is that he has somewhere around 11,000 cards, give or take a few, thanks in large part to Pacific's entire lifespan as a card company and '02-'05 Donruss and Leaf.
