From a Different Point of View

Hello again everyone, it's me, Shea!
It's been a while since my last post here (that seems familiar) but I'm seeing alot of my old friends are still here which is great! Hopefully I can be a regular here again and keep showing off my collection with everyone. I'd like to continue with the second card from the 1931 Player's Cigarettes set that I started a year ago. In case you missed it, or need a refresher, here's the original post! Well then, on to the next card!

1931 Player's Cigarettes
#2 Alsatian
I have to admit, when I first read "Alsatian", I had to look the breed up because although the picture looks like a couple of my friends, I've never heard them called by that name before so I had to be sure. Turns out that Alsatian is the U.K. name for a German Shepard! Shepards are very pretty dogs and super smart. I know a few from the dog park and they're really nice, sometimes we like to chase some of the other dogs together (we're just playing, I swear!). German Shepards are a relatively new breed, becoming officially recognized in the late 1800's and are a part of the Herding group, putting them in the same class as Boarder Collies, Australian Cattle Dogs and even Corgis! Being a herding dog, they need lots of daily exercise and they need to be kept mentally active and busy as well.

The most common coloring for German Sheprads are Black and Tan, although they can also have solid black or solid white coats.

Hope you enjoyed my first post in almost a year! Until next time,
