I only have a handful of cards left to finish off the '71 Topps team set, so earlier this week I gave myself $10 to try and whittle down the checklist a bit. I managed to get three cards I needed, most notably, the Seaver.
Grabbed it for a cool $5.50 shipped. The last big piece I need is the Nolan Ryan card, which can be had for around $25. With the Ryan plus the last 2 commons, I'm estimating that I should be able to finish off the set for about $30. From what I've seen though, Seaver appears to be the only Met auditioning for a spot in Dawn of the Dead on the back of their card, albeit 7 years early...
