2nd Anniversary of The Sandlot!

I just happened to notice today that this blog has been alive for two years as of... March 13th.

Hm

Missed the ball on that one.

When I first started writing the blog, I had in mind that I would do it for about a year and then call it quits. I just thought it would be a fun way to show off some of my collection and look at other peoples collections as well. I never imagined how much this blog would actually help my collection!

Before I started, I had less then 100 Piazza cards. I now have over 600.
The David Wright collection was still new, but I didn't even have a page full. I'm clocking in at over 200 Wrights now.
Team sets, I think I had about 5 or so and I'm now sitting on 160+.

I've slowed down to about one post a week, but it's a pace I'm really comfortable with right now and I couldn't imagine not having this blog to post on at all!

I'm still planning on holding the free group break I promised when I broke 100 followers. Just waiting for that tax return to get here.

Thank you to everyone who reads, follows and has traded with me! It's been a blast digging through all my old cards and getting new ones. Hopefully I'll be able to meet some of you guys one day (I'm going to Citi Field on April 22nd if anyone else will be there). And a very special thanks to the Phillies and Yankees traders out there, cuz card stock doesn't make for a very warm fire.
