Last Two '64s!!!

The last two '64 coins from my bay binge came the other day! I've pretty much spit out all the info there is on this set, so I'll get right down to the goodness of it all...


First up is Mr. Juan Marichal. One thing I always forget but then re-remember about Marichal, is that the last 2 games of his career were as a Dodger! That's kindda like Jackie Robinson being a Giant!!! Oh, wait...


Speaking of players being on teams that they should never be on, Willie Mays!!! I of course knew that Say Hey was a Mets, but I only thought it was for one year. Turns out it was for two, '72 and '73. The Mets still honor him whenever they do major events where they bring back past players and I think that's great.

So that's the last of what I got this round. I put a good dent in this set now and the binders starting to fill out and gain some respectability. I've still got a long ways to go, but I'll get there!
