Wrapper Redemption Pack!

I bought a couple High Numbers off COMC to help finish off the '72 Mets team set, so when I saw a bubble envelope, I defaulted it to that. When I opened it however, I was greeted by a shiny plain silver pack. I had no idea what this was and looking at the return address from PA offered no clues either.

I had the dog sniff it. She gave it her approval, so I went for it.

It was my 3 card pack from Topps for the Chrome wrappers! I only sent that in with the first wave of cards from the group break, so this was much sooner than I thought it would have come.

Now, a quick question before I show off what I got. I don't know too much about the odds of getting Refractors and whatnot, but I thought it was a 1:3 packs had a refrac in it. I could be completely wrong (most likely) but I ask because all 3 of my cards were Refractors. Anyways, let's take a look...

Hey, all right! I got the only Met in the set, Ike Davis! I'm stoked I got to actually pull this card in what may very well be my only wrapper redemption.

All in all I think this was a very cool idea Topps had with this. It was a simple "buy our shit and we'll send you more of our shit if you send our original shit back to us." type thing. I'd like to see this again next year, but Topps has that habit of over doing everything soooo maybe we can be more careful this time?
